Far East Fun Sticks:

Far East Fun Sticks: Higher Performance at a Lower Price

Holding fast to SAFETY while carefully letting go of durability to increase OPTIMIZATION.

A Note From Gorg

This new product line utilizes cores from our new supplier at a fraction of the cost. This allows us to incorporate high-tech hybrid builds, cutting not only weight but also cost for you. We reinforce where needed most, and trim the fat where it makes most sense. The community asked, and here is the answer. Thank you all so much for the continued support through all these years.

The Far East Line is Taking Over Gorgtech Pro Models:

• As of October 2026, Far East Fun Sticks are the official ELITE line of gorgtech foam-fighting sports equipment for counterweighted heavy combat games including Belegarth.
• This change is because the Far East Fun Sticks feel better and cost less.

Far East Fun Sticks Construction Details:

• Carbon Fiber Cores: Every boffer weapon is built on ultra-light, high-durability 13mm–19mm Carbon Fiber tubes. We scale the core thickness to the weapon’s length to ensure the perfect balance of flex and strength.

• The 25/75 Foam Tech: Both Flats and Omnis are designed so that the tip of the blade is more durable and the base of the blade is lighter weight.  Rest assured, we are holding fast to safety and gently letting go of durability to increase optimization.  These tests have proven phenomenal results.  That’s why this line is the new gold standard.

• The Best Handles in the Game: Forget rope wraps. Our handles are rigid, firm, and indexed for responsiveness.

  • Flat Blades: Smooth, oblong handles shaped to the natural curve of your hand.

  • Omnis: Round, high-torque rigid handles.

• Ripstop Covers: Every weapon comes with a reinforced, ripstop, tape-on cover. Need the iconic 3 Stars? We apply custom star-tape to every ripstop cover for that signature Gorg look.  Much research is continuing through the fall and winter of 2026 to secure a lightweight yet appropriately durable ripstop fabric.  Unfortunately, with supply chain changes, our favorite ripstops of the past are no longer available.  Winter War Testing will help determine our 2027 standard ripstop fabric for Far East Covers.

• Future-Proof Maintenance: We offer exact-match replacement covers and reblades directly linked through this listing. Buy them now to ensure a perfect fit for repairs months down the road.  Variations happen with both handmade construction and machine-cut materials.  Tighten up those tolerances by ordering your reblade when you place your intitial order.

A Note From Gorg

These new builds incorporate some modernized older tech from our more durable builds of years past, where it matters the most, and lighter-weight materials elsewhere to balance them out, giving the best of both worlds.
