Amtgard Foam Weapon is a 36″ long Flat Sword or Omni Bat built unweighted for playing LARP Sports without minimum weight requirements

The unweighted bats and flats are ever improving. The core, foam, and fabric are constantly evolving. Expect the finished length to range from 34-36″ and the weight to be dancing around 7-8oz.

Made with the lightest available Foam, Core, and Fabric.  Construction may vary with each handmade batch of Unweighted Weapons.

Amtgard Foam Weapon is a 36″ Flat Sword or Omni Bat boffers for playing unweighted LARP sports like Amtgard and Darkon.  Originally we only offered Amt Bats.  Great news, now available in flat blade swords too!  One amtgard listing for your choice of style and durability.

All gorgtech foam weapons are hand-made in the USA and guaranteed to pass the first unweighted weapons check.  These boffers will not pass Dagorhir or Belegarth weapons check!

The 36″ secret bat is still our favorite recommendation for cross-gaming in LARP sports because it is legal in dagorhir, belegarth, amtgard, darkon.  This unweighted weapon is only legal in amtgard and darkon.

    These are heavier than current meta tourney swords for Amtgard, but they’re still lighter than most weapons – and they are significantly more durable than either. An excellent workhorse sword for a serious fighter.
