Amtgard Foam Weapon is a 36″ long Flat Sword or Omni Bat built unweighted for playing LARP Sports without minimum weight requirements.

Made with the lightest available Foam, Core, and Fabric.  Construction may vary with each handmade batch of Unweighted Weapons.

Core Options

  • 524 kitespar is not used on unweighted boffers for light touch games.
  • 505 kitespar is lightweight but less durable than the traditional 524 kitespar.  We are clearancing the 505ks because the carbon fiber is lighter-weight and less-expensive.
  • The Far East Carbon Fiber is Clutch.  It’s absolutely incredible.  Enjoy the best of what’s next!

    These are heavier than current meta tourney swords for Amtgard, but they’re still lighter than most weapons – and they are significantly more durable than either. An excellent workhorse sword for a serious fighter.
