“Lightweight but sturdy, I can’t wait to kick butt and wreck some nerdy scrubs shields with it!!!” Mike Schuler 1/25/17
“…love it absolutely love it! its light and hits great. I don’t normally name weapons but i named mine Esmeralda.” Draco113406 3-27-15
“I can’t believe how lightweight this thing is. Held in one hand, it seems a little unwieldy, but when you hold it properly and start swinging it around, the weight disappears! It’s got plenty of mass to deliver those nasty red hits while being more than light enough to fend off attacks. I love it!” Darthnader26 2-23-15
“Amazing weapon. Not heavy, not light. Quick to move but still has a resounding whack when used. I love the fact he oblongs the padding so you can easily tell your edge control. Great weapon. 11/10.” Onenerdyguy 1-13-15

This glaive floats! I recently bought one due to my want to have a glaive in the inventory. I got some serious use out of it at a local amtgard event.
People threw with decent power, and the bandshoppe core held rocksteady. I was able to return fire with solid force, and when necessary had solid control when stabbing.
A solid buy from a solid merchant. 10/10 would glaive again

Great weight and balance! Can’t wait to get it out in the field.

It’s a chonky boi that hits like a truck and is very solid. It can take hits as well as dish them out twice as hard. Quality weapon.

Light but packs a punch, elegant, flowing, I accidentally bruised my nephews thumb with it and this glaive can easily push aside weapons.

Thicc. Hits like a truck. An immovable blockstick. Very well made.
Unfortunately at a meta level, it puts you at a tech disadvantage compared to the *tap* *tap* *tap* carbon stuff. Those can get off about 3-4 strikes in the time it takes to re-swing this hefty lad. From a purely try-hard perspective, I would highly recommend getting their 75in carbon glaive instead. I got this, then got a carbon, and now this one just gathers dust.

I bought a 6ft Bandshop Glaive (dag red/green) and a Secret Bat 34″ (dag blue/green). Both passed weapons check at the first event I took them to, and were exactly what I expected. Shipping time was very reasonable and matched the expectations set by the website. I’ll certainly use Gorg again in the future.
