31″ arrow shaft used with our Modular arrows to create larp arrows. Dagorhir, Belegarth, Amtgard, and Darkon Legal Arrows.
Green Nock: Traditional carbon fiber shaft. (Green Nock is glued in place)
White Nock: Safe Nock carbon fiber shaft. (White safety nock is secured but still removable if needed)
The internal diameter of the shafts is about 1/4″
The external diameter is about 3/8″

Safety
Our shafts come without metal tips. No tips are allowed in foam archery. Gorgtech shafts are automatically safer because there’s no chance to accidentally put your foam arrowhead on a tipped shaft. Tips not included!
Playability
These are the ideal length for larp sports. They easily pass in Dagorhir, Belegarth and Amtgard.
Convenience
The best reason to buy our shafts isn’t just safety and playability but CONVENIENCE! For years we would regularly check Wal-Mart and Dick’s Sporting Goods for arrowshafts. Supplies in stores are frequently unavailable and often expensive.
We don’t make these shafts in house. We are happy to help you get to to battlefield quickly and safely by reselling them.

I ordered the green nock shafts and they are great. The only confusing thing about them is that usually the nock is positioned so that the marked fletching (the yellow one in this case) is facing the outside. However these nocks are positioned so that the marked fletching is directly upward (or downward depending). Because of this an arrow cannot be fired without one of the fletchings hitting the bow upon release. If you are looking for super accuracy, this will affect your shot. However, it has done nothing to impede my shots of hitting a person’s general torso area, which is why I still give these 5 stars. They work fine for me, and I’m happy to support Gorg by purchasing these directly from him as well as the arrowheads.

These are what you need for combat archery. Be sure to get the arrow heads and the tape to assemble them.
I prefer four fletchings in an X pattern so there is no wrong way to nock the arrow and more stabilization, but I have always had to do that custom myself.
